We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas period, with joy, family, festivities, and a lot of cheer as well. 2017 is only just around the corner, and we have a brand new challenge for you to bring in the New Year, and throughout January. Our theme is OUTSIDE; we hope that you can really get to grips with this, both sharing your new winter snaps, and perhaps warming us a little with some of your favourite pictures from other seasons too. Just pop your pictures on the Facebook post below, and we will share three of our favourites at the end of January.
Just a bit of fun for you all, and to encourage you to develop those photography skills too.
Before we give you a little advice about this theme, lets take a look at December’s challenge again, and share with you the pictures from the Festive Food theme that we gave to you all.
We had some gorgeous offerings, which had all our mouths watering, but we did manage to pick our favourite three.
The first is from Helen Templeton – we simply had to choose these wonderful Mince Pies which really sum up the season perfectly. We loved the angle of this shot, and the icing sugar really does feel like it was dusting the picture as well as the pies!
The second picture is rather un-usual, but its from Amanda Maguire, and she has shared a stunning picture of a Christmas Pudding cake – so we don’t forget those that have birthdays around Christmas-time.
Chocs to finish
Our final offering is from John Cuthbert; Christmas isn’t complete with a rather special chocolate collection, and this shot is a perfect way to finish off our offerings for the month. Marvellous presentation, both original, and captivating; what a reflection. Not to mention helping them look rather tasty too. Yum.
We hope you love these pictures as much as we do, and that you took your own great photos over the festive period; of food and anything else with that little bit of Christmas frivolity all mixed in. Don’t forget to check out the photo gifts, canvases and prints on the site to preserve all those special memories.
Don’t forget to check out the new theme over on Facebook:
We would love you to submit some pictures for the OUTSIDE theme – we’ve kept it general, so there should be plenty of ideas for you to choose from. Perhaps you can try some of these suggestions?
